Jim Runckel joined Spear Wilderman in 1986 and has been a partner in the firm since 1991. Jim is our point person for approximately 15 Local Unions, and his practice encompasses
all areas of union-side labor law: arbitrations, negotiations, NLRB and PLRB matters, and state and federal litigation.
Jim's clients include building service employees, oil workers and employees in the utility industry. He is a frequent lecturer on various labor relations subjects, most
frequently concerning contract negotiations and the arbitration process. Jim received his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia in 1983, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in
1986. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Philadelphia Bar Association.
